Hello, I'm Tory LaPointe and Mirror Dragon Tarot is my dream. I've been reading the Tarot since 1977 and when the time was finally right, in 2004 for me to take the huge step of "going public" and doing only readings for a living, I leaped. I've been gifted with psychic insights for as long as I can remember and have studied with many Enlightened Masters. Ive spent time studying with Ramtha, channelled by J.Z. Knight,(see "What the Bleep do we Know?") The Emissary, channelled by Joan Grant and the author Lynn Andrews. I also read voraciously and have studied many other enlightened and expansive teachers such as Machelle Small Wright, Jane Roberts, Dan Millman, Drunvalo Melchizadek, James Redfield, Lynne McTaggart, Esther and Jerry Hicks, Eckhart Tolle and many, more through their written work. I love finding new insights and viewpoints to add to my ever growing awe of this glorious passage through physical form we call Life. There are many ways to view the use of the Tarot.
Some see the cards as entities in and of themselves while others believe each card has a specific set of attributes and meanings
to be learned by studying what the books say about them. I began reading the Tarot at the age of 18 and in my own beginning
steps I used the descriptions and layouts I found in the user booklet that came with my first deck. For a few years I worked
with many different decks and gradually I became aware of a, sort of, metamorphosis in my thinking/knowing about the cards.
After about ten years I found one deck that really "spoke" to me and seemed to give me the sharpest insights into
my readings. I began using the Thoth deck designed by Alleister Crowley in the late eighties and slowly, as I worked more
and more with them the individual meanings of each card began to morph and change in direct response to whatever reading I
was doing at the time. After a while the cards became a "window" for me to look through and see the events, emotions
and thought processes occurring in the lives and environments of my clients. The cards became my connection to my own higher
self, tools to use to transport me from the ordinary world to a higher, clearer plane where we're all energetically connected
and wear we can interact on a heart level that allows us to know what's going on in the lives of others.
